I watched his Ted Talk and had to share his teachings. From my own experience I can attest to how I hold more negative experiences then positive ones from my daily experiences. This does affect my energy and pulls me out of the PRESENT moment. His tool is very simple and I believe can help..
I found this article online and found it very insightful and helpful for tackling intense emotional release. For those of you who are or have experienced intense pain or discomfort related to Emotional Wounds, that manifest usually in the stomach or heart this article will be very helpful.
In my own experience it is very important to stay detached from what comes up as each wave or episode can be very difficult, thus, if you are taken with any one of the thoughts and their accompanying feelings you can feel like you are reliving the entire experience. Try not to react to the emotions. Avoid making any important decision or actions while going through these processes. My last peace of advise is to only release as much as you can each day, and not any more.
Take the lesson from your feelings, respect them, but choose to react from a place of wholeness.
“Even when traumatic memories don’t reach a level of discomfort associated with PTSD, they can still be destructive. Hanson notes that unresolved trauma “increases inflammation, weakens your immune system, and wears on your cardiovascular system. No one has to live with traumatic memories from the past. They can truly be healed now and forever.”
If you are looking to release old stuck emotions and energies that do not serve you, then I recommend hip opening exercises. Builds more stability, strength, trust, and openness to your life..
The hip opening Routine attached is a VERY GOOD ONE.
